PRIVACY AND VIDEO MONITORING POLICY\n\n\u00a71. General Provisions\n\nThis Privacy Policy sets out the rules for the processing and protection of personal data provided by Users in connection with the use of transport services provided under the brand Panther Cars.\n\nThe Data Controller is Panther Innovations s.p. z o.o. with its registered office at 95-100 Zgierz, identified by the Tax Identification Number (NIP): 7322215069 (hereinafter referred to as the \"Controller\").\n\nWe care about your privacy and full discretion. Personal data is processed in accordance with the Regulation (EU) 2016\/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR).\n\nThe Controller applies appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of the processed data, adequate to the risks and categories of data protected.\n\n\u00a72. What data do we process and for what purpose?\nWe collect only the data necessary to provide the transport service and ensure safety. These are:\n\nName and surname (for passenger identification);\n\nPhone number and e-mail address (to contact the driver, send notifications, and booking confirmations);\n\nPick-up addresses and destination routes;\n\nInvoice details (Tax ID\/VAT number, company name, registered address) \u2013 if the Client requests a VAT invoice;\n\nImage \u2013 in the case of journeys in vehicles equipped with a video monitoring system.\n\nThe legal basis for processing your data is:\n\nNecessity for the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) \u2013 execution of the requested ride.\n\nLegal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) \u2013 tax and accounting regulations.\n\nLegitimate interest of the Controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) \u2013 pursuing or defending against potential legal claims, as well as ensuring the safety of persons and property through the use of vehicle monitoring.\n\n\u00a73. Video monitoring in vehicles\n\nIn order to ensure the highest level of safety for passengers, drivers, and property protection, selected vehicles in our fleet are equipped with internal and external cameras (dashcams).\n\nRespecting the privacy and discretion of our Clients, the monitoring system records only the image (video). The cameras do not record sound (conversations held in the vehicle).\n\nVehicles subject to monitoring are clearly marked with legible pictograms placed in a visible location (on the outside or inside of the vehicle), informing about the recording before the journey begins.\n\nAccess to the recordings is restricted exclusively to persons authorized by the Controller. Recordings are reviewed and verified only in justified cases (e.g., traffic collision, property damage, leaving valuable luggage in the vehicle, security threats).\n\n\u00a74. Who do we share your data with?\nYour data is treated as strictly confidential. We do not sell or share it with third parties for marketing purposes. The recipients of the data may only be trusted cooperating entities necessary for the proper provision of the service:\n\nDrivers carrying out the ride \u2013 they receive only operational information (name, phone number, addresses) necessary to execute the order;\n\nAccounting office \u2013 to issue and settle accounting documents;\n\nIT service providers \u2013 including hosting server operators and booking system providers;\n\nAuthorized state authorities (e.g., Police, courts, prosecutor's office) and insurance companies \u2013 exclusively upon their official and justified request, in particular when providing monitoring recordings as evidence.\n\n\u00a75. How long do we keep the data?\n\nData related to the provision of the transport service is stored for the period of limitation of civil law claims (typically 3 years from the end of the calendar year in which the service was performed).\n\nData included on invoices and accounting documents is kept for a period of 5 years from the end of the calendar year in which the tax payment deadline expired, in accordance with applicable law.\n\nVideo monitoring recordings: Stored for a short period of time. The system operates in a loop, which means that recordings are automatically overwritten after 7 days from the moment they are recorded. This period may be extended solely in the event that the recording is secured as evidence in an ongoing legal proceeding (until its final conclusion).\n\n\u00a76. Your Rights\nIn accordance with GDPR regulations, you have the right to:\n\nAccess your data (including monitoring recordings, provided it does not infringe on the rights and freedoms of others) and rectify it.\n\nErasure of data (the \"right to be forgotten\") or restriction of its processing \u2013 in situations provided for by law (unless it conflicts with the overriding legal obligations of the Controller).\n\nData portability.\n\nObject to the processing of your data (e.g., against monitoring for reasons related to your particular situation).\n\nLodge a complaint with the supervisory authority \u2013 the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO) in Warsaw, if you believe that the processing violates personal data protection regulations.\n\n\u00a77. Cookies\n\nThe website panthercars.pl uses cookies to ensure the correct and safe operation of the website and for statistical and analytical purposes.\n\nCookies are small text files saved on your end device.\n\nYou can change your cookie settings or disable them completely at any time through your web browser settings; however, this may affect the proper functioning of some elements of the website.\n\n\u00a78.
